In honor of national poetry month…

Pippa’s Song – Robert Browning

The year’s at the spring,

And day’s at the morn;

Morning’s at seven;

The hill-side’s dew-pearl’d;

The lark’s on the wing;

The snail’s on the thorn;

God’s in His heaven –

All’s right with the world!

And with God – all is right with the world – for He is in charge and He has the final say! Just thought I’d share a poem about our Lord in honor of national poetry month.

  1. I’m not much of a poet myself. I’m more of a humorist. I once wrote a poem about the Star Wars character Yoda. It started like this:

    So you wish to speak like Yoda
    Well would you do to note
    Speaks the creature like Fozzy Bear
    With Kermit the Frog in his throat
